Pete & Margaret Fitzpatrick and Eileen Murphy of the “Irish Arts Forum of Rockland’ presented a contribution check to John Allen Murphy, the President of “Rockland Homes For Heroes, Inc.”, a volunteer, private, not-for-profit, non-sectarian, agency that builds and operates affordable, permanent, supportive, rental apartments on Western Highway in the historic Hamlet of Tappan, Rockland County, New York for displaced (homeless) & disabled veterans.

The Fitzpatricks and Eileen were the last Officers of the “Irish Arts Forum” which choose to close down the organization after 35 very successful productions of the Irish performing arts by producing its last Play, “The Final days Of Wolfe Tone”, to celebrate the centennial anniversary of the 1916 Easter Uprising In Ireland and to donate all the profits to local charities and because they are all volunteers at “Homes For Heroes, it was one of the charities. Pete immigrated from Ireland and enlisted in the US Air Force. Murphy is a former Marine.
